A commercial automobile is described as a motor vehicle of the truck, tractor, sedan delivery or utility type used for commercial purposes as well as any trailer intended for use with a commercial automobile.

Exceptions:

Any vehicle used for renting or carrying passengers for hire Any vehicle used for demonstrating or testing Any vehicle held for sale by an automobile dealer Any vehicle with a gross vehicle (GVW) not in excess of 4500kg (10,000 lbs.) used for pleasure purpose only.
